In a bid to bring on a burgeoning slice of British art scene to Hong Kong, Identity Art Gallery is pleased to present Emerging London, a joint exhibition showcasing oil paintings and mixed media collages by an exciting group of London-based artists, Chris Baker, Abigail Box, Aidan Doherty, Roxy Topia and Paddy Gould.


Emerging London brings together five early to mid-career on the up artists who share a gutsy fascination for colourful and optimistic presentation styles. Balancing links to interior fantasy and external culture, from pop to art, these award-winning art stars-to-be revel in stripping images, patterns and textures of their context, and giving them new lives as brave and original artistic expressions. In this forward and vibrant showcase of paintings and mix media collages, serious dialogues with art history appears alongside absurd, whimsical reflections of fleeting and often inconsequential moments, all represent future names to watch as the five young artists seek to broaden their contemporary repertoire.
